Today for writing we had to write a detailed paragraph. Our teacher wrote a explanation about venus fly traps and we had to work on that and make his explanation a detailed paragraph. We had to write at least three or more sentences and I completed my work. We had to base our writing about venus fly traps wich are carnivorous plants. I also learnt by listening to the instructions, by working hard and bieng focused on my work.

Venus Fly Trap explanation
Today for writing we had to write a detailed paragraph. Our teacher wrote a explanation about venus fly traps and we had to work on that and make his explanation a detailed paragraph. Kiwi Sport
Today I learnt how to pass the rugby ball backwards like a proper rugby ball. We got into three groups, and then we started playing a game that includes Passing all directions then Hamish taught us how to pass backwards like in a actual rugby match. We had to line up in three groups and one person starts running forward and the other person follows up and they have to be behind the other person infront of them and the person with the ball has to pass the ball backwards. After we played a match with the passing back skill that we learnt and we could only pass forward when we have two rips with us but when we get ripped we have to pass backwards or sideways.

Kiwi Can
LI: To be a good role model.
Today for kiwi can we played two games, Those two games are called BANG and tooty fruity. to play the first game bang you had to get into a circle and there had to be someone in the middle who would call out names. The name that the person called have to duck down and the two people beside them have to look at eachother and say bang and pretend to shoot. When you get to the last two people they have to go back to back and the person in the middle has to think of a word and has to say a story when the person starts saying the story the people who are back to back have to start walking slowly and when the person says the word the two people have to stand back to back and say bang and shoot each other. in tooty fruity you have to go in a circle and look right someone will say a fruit and the fruit will tell you what to do. The different fruits and actions are apple wich means jump forward, orange wich means jump back, banana wich means turn the other direction and grape wich means duck down on the spot.
We learnt by playing one game based on our topic.

Samoan Language Week
Today we had to go upstairs into LS2 and work there. We had to learn about samoan language week. We had to listen to the teacher Mrs Anderson's DLO and learn a little bit about Samoan language week and then we had to get into a group of four but Mrs Anderson got us into a group of five. Mrs Anderson sent us of to make a DLO about Samoan language week. We learnt about the coat of arms and the flag and what they represent. My group was writing about the flag and when it was adopted at the bottom and the coat of arms at the top.

Keyword list
Today I had to find key words from a text and write a reminder of what the word means. We are trying to focus on books that talk about the nervous system so I got quite alot of words that are related to the nervous system. Before we wrote down the key words we had to figure out what kind of text type it was, we had to figure out what the text is about and in this case it is about the nervous system, we also had to figure out the authors purpose for writing the text and the final thing we had to figure out who was the author of the book.

Nervous System
LI: To write an explanation explanation about the nerve .
Today I had to write an explanation about the nerve. if you do not know what the nerve is it is a part in your body and it tell your body what to move so without one you will not be able to move so we are lucky we have a nervous system. the are two different systems one of them are your central nervous system or CNS and your peripharil nervous system or PNS.

Kiwi Can
LI: To play fare and truthfull.
Today I had to play two games based on our theme and topic. the first game was called oppisets and to play you need one person to do an action and the others to do the oppiset of what they do. For example if I face my right hand to the left then you have to face your left hand right. the second game is called termanator tag and to play every one is in and every one has to tag each other and if you got taged then you have to bob down and wait for the person who taged you to get taged then you can stand up and start tagging again.

The Divider
LI: To answer the divider questions.
Today we had to use something that kinda works like the multiplier but it is called the divider. I did not split any of my questions because I liked using the divider in one. the numbers I used was ninty five divided by five and I used those numbers because I figured out a little pattern to solve anything divided by five. I recorded my learning by listening to my self or watching what I do to help me with future questions.
I learnt by using the divider.
