Maths | Fact Family

LI: To demonstrate a fact family.
A Fact Family is a series of facts that come from something thats like a family, for example knowing 3 x 2 means you should know 2 x 3. Also knowing a Fact Family is knowing everything in that one family, for example knowing all the 9 times tables.
Knowing a fact family at good speed as well, is a great skill to have.

SSR Selfie

LI: To summarise and retell a text.
This week for SSR Selfie my book was called Ninja Kid 3. My book is fiction book and it tells you about a nerdy kid called Nelson who becomes a Ninja on his 10th birhtday. I also had to answer questions like what the book title is, who the author is, who the illustrator or photographer is and more on the slide below.

Prototec

LI: To remember basic maths facts.
This week in maths I was doing Prototec. Prototec helps us with our Basic maths facts, and how fast we can recall them. For this task I had to complete one of the tasks on prototec, I then had to explain how I did and I had to insert screenshots of my task in the slide below.

Descriptive Writing

LI: To describe using intresting language features.
Today for Descriptive Writing I had to create multiple comments about multiple photos. We had to use language features like nouns, adjectives and verbs. To find out more watch the slide show below.

Fact Find | Tennis

LI: To learn about something new.

Today for Fact Find I decided to research about Tennis. In Fact Find I had to write an introduction, five facts, some photos and videos ( Media ) and my information sources. 

I didn't really know much about Tennis so thats why I chose to research about it. I found out some really cool and new things about the sport. To find out more about Tennis, watch the slide below.
