SLJ | Setting Sail
LI: To list 10 food items to bring to a trip at sea.
For the first day in the SLJ we had to list 10 things we'd take on a voyage. The catch was we had no fridge or freezer. We also had to write why we were taking those food items. I named, dairy products, fruits, vegetables and more on the document above.

Kia Ora Oscar,
ReplyDeleteI’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the students at Panmure Bridge School so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.
Wow! you have been very busy completing Summer Learning Journey activities, well done! You have come up with some nutritious food to take with you for your sea voyage, although you might need to take plants and trees that produce those fruit and vegetables so you could have enough food to last you for the long trip. If you had the chance to sail a boat anywhere where would you want to go? I would want to visit any of the Pacific Islands because they look so beautiful.
As it is the holiday period many of the Summer Learning Journey team are currently away from work and are spending some time with their friends and family. This means that you would get many encouraging comments over this time. We want you to keep blogging and we will comment on as many of your posts as we can when everyone is back at work!
Keep the blogging up!
Blog ya later,
Dani
Hi Oscar!
ReplyDeleteI like how you added the food or drink and then you added why you would take it on your voyage. I think milk would spoil if it wasn't used in a few weeks.
Blog you later!
