This week for Ki O Rahi or Kiwi Sport we had our last session. We had to play the role of Kioma, Taniwha, Kaitiaki, and the Kicker. The boundries of Kioma allows you to be in Te au and Paweru but not in Te Rutu. In the role of Kioma you have to get the Ki to touch as many po's as you want and then you try in paweru. Team Taniwha were allowed in Te rutu and Te au, they weren't allowed Paweru, Te ara or Te marama. The boundries of the kicker was only Te Marama and they had to kick the Ki into the Paweru. The kaitiaki were only allowed in Te ara to enter and Paweru to protect the tupu from being hit. We learnt this by applying what we have learnt into the proper game of Ki O Rahi. The tools we used were The tools that we used to learn the full game was the Ki ( Ball ), the Tupu ( it is a rock but not a actual rock ), the 7 Po ( Taniwha Teeth also again there not real ), Cones to help now our boundaries and a couple Tags ( Rippa Rugby Tags ).
