Summer Learning Journey D3T3

Optical ilussions are pieces of art that messes with the eyes.

My optical illusion is called the impossible triangle. To make this shape I followed a step by step tutorial. The triange on the left is the tutorials and the right one is mine.

To make this optical illusion I used a ruler, a piece of paper, a pencil, and an eraser.

There are many different kinds of optical illusion like moving ones, ones that have a short effect on the world around you, and etc.

This activity helped with my listening skills because I had to listen and pay attention to. Heres a link to the tutorial I watched: Link

Kia ora it’s Shannon here from the Summer Learning Journey.

What a wonderful job you have done with your optical illusion of the never ending triangle Oscar. Thank you for including the link to the tutorial as optical illusions have always intrigued me. It was great to read that you really had to use your listening skills while you did this. Did you manage to keep up with the video as you drew or did you have to pause it?

Have you heard of Puzzle World in Wanaka? They have some amazing optical illusions on show in there. I have been with my family and I am always amazed at how they work. Maybe you could look it up on Google?

    Happy blogging.

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)
