Summer Learning Journey D4T1

In this activity, I was asked to create a chorus about a topic chosen. The topic I chose was about sandwiches because they are one of my favorite snacks to have. In this chorus I used the ABC's tune as the tune for the chorus.

I found this challenging and at the same time creative and interesting.

It’s Shannon here again, from the Summer Learning Journey.

What a great topic to choose to write a chorus about. You are so creative with your Sandwich song, and I really liked how you managed to add in a bit about Subway! How did you decide to use the ABC song to write your lyrics to?

The image you used suited your chorus well, but it was difficult to read the white lettering in parts. Could you have added a solid shape behind the text to make it easier to read? Or maybe you could have tried a different colour for your text?

Ka pai on a great post Oscar.

  2. Hi Shannon,

Thanks for commenting on my blogpost and saying that my chorus was creative. I decided to use the ABC song tune because I thought that it would be easy to make a rythm with it. I will try adding a shape in the background of my text, and if that doesn't work I'll use the other method you've suggested.

    Thanks

    Oscar

    1. Hi Oscar,

That looks awesome and is super easy to read! You've done a fantastic job!

So what's your favourite type of sandwich?

      Bye for now,

    2. Hello Shannon,

Thanks for the positive feedback. If I had to pick I think my favourite sandwich is a bacon and egg sandwich.

Do you like your sandwiches with crust or without crust? if you dont like crust then do you just throw away the crust or do you give the crust to someone else who likes it? If you do like crust could you explain what you think makes crusted sandwiches better than non-crusted sandwiches?

      Bye for now,

      Oscar
