This week for reading we are learning how to skim and scan. We had to use the knowledge that we have about skimming and scanning and use it to do the task. We all had different books that we had to skim and scan on. We also learnt about how to use and find keywords in a text. We had to make a poster about connections. Text to self, text to text and text to community. Synthesising is finding out the new understanding. Our synthesising poster is to write down our prior knowledge, the new information, and new understanding.

LI: To Skim and Scan.
This week for reading we are learning how to skim and scan. We had to use the knowledge that we have about skimming and scanning and use it to do the task.
